BRIEF OUTLINE
Shalvey Campus provides education for Years 7 - 10 only and your studies will include two stages of learning. It is important to understand their purposes.
During these years you will experience a wide variety of subjects. Study will be undertaken in the Key Learning Areas of:
In Year 8, studies in most Key Learning Areas continue but you do have some choices.
- LOTE: Spanish, Italian, German
- TAS: Technologies including - Timber, Metal, Information Software Technology, Food, Textiles, Graphics, Promotional Design, Digital Design, Electronics
- Commerce
- Aboriginal Studies
- Agriculture

YEARS 11 and 12
Students from Shalvey Campus will be well prepared to go on to the purpose built Senior Campus next to Mt Druitt TAFE. You have automatic right to the Senior Campus from Shalvey. The Senior Campus will offer an extensive range of H.S.C. courses, catering for all. Students may also choose to complete their H.S.C. at Bidwill Campus. Whatever the choice, it is strongly recommended that you continue with your studies to gain the H.S.C. or TAFE qualifications, or both!
